2006/2007
CSC Sife competed in this year's Chicago Regional Competition. Our hard work and dedicated members earned us "First Runner-Up".
Our mission is "To empower individuals to create positive change in their lives and in their community through the principals of free enterprise."
2005/2006
Last year's 2005/06 SIFE program at Carl Sandburg College was in full swing with dedicated members wanting to make a difference. Recruitment aided the team to better fulfill their mission statement:
Their efforts have been realized by the people who have been impacted through the projects they have conducted. The regional competition held at St. Louis, MO, this years team was awarded "Second Runner-up" honors for their efforts competing against many successful SIFE teams.
2004/2005
Our 2004/05 team continued the Job Fair and Financial Seminars projects. Additionally, they consulted with three local businesses, and hosted a student Business Plan competition. At the Spring of 2005 regional competition CSC SIFE earned "First Runner-up" honors.
2003/2004
CSC SIFE Team 2003 was able to compete in their first ever regional competition in the Spring of 2004. Some of the projects conducted in the first year were Financial Seminars, Consulting with a local business, Job Fair, and Cookies in A Jar. They earned "Rookie of the Year" and "Second Runner-up" honors for their efforts.
